Just spent a night at Eaglemount Lodge and must say that the room was large and had a spa bath, only about 10 min walk to the main street where you will find some fantastic shops and of course Georges Seafood restaurant, had a great meal there and also enjoyed a great devonshire tea as well as the many shops selling fudge.The gardens are well maintained and again peaceful for sitting on the benches and reading your favorite book and when the weather warms up the pool would be awesome.I can recommend Eaglemount Lodge if you are looking for a quite relaxing place to stay, the hosts are great and the continental breakfast was a welcome change from the normal plate of grease (Bacon and eggs), we will going back there again in the near future
